I walk underneath

Fantastic amounts of leaves

Breathing, I stand still

You are loveliest

Snuggled in the blue jumper

On autumn evenings

~

Below a bird’s nest

Rain fills a muddy footprint

As builders mark earth

~

A clear horizon

A butterfly bats wings

Her letter arrives

~

Tide kisses dry land

Sand is shifting in the seas

His hand brushes mine

~

Roots spread through wet soil

Water is carried skywards

I am so in love

~

The moon and streetlamp

Fill our empty bench with light

The sound of bells

~

The wind path of leaves

Circling between tree and ground

Leads pen to paper
